Oh how I hate the word “nailed”!

There’s some fantastic teachers out there : http://www.educationdive.com/news/5-professors-on-youtube-who-nailed-teaching/181504/ but why, oh why is everything now “nailed”? Do you hit teaching with a hammer, did the best X-Factor singing contestants hit their songs with hammers, such a common vulgar phrase intended for high praise (and don’t get me started on the overuse of the word “journey”.) Enough already.
